HLN Architects have been Architectural Consultants to Tesco Stores Ltd since 1978 and a Strategic Partner since 2002. 

We have assisted Tesco in developing their formats and have worked on and delivered a wide range of projects within Tesco portfolio including New Environmental Stores, Extensions, Distribution Centre’s, Mixed Use Developments, Store Refits, and re-purposing across the whole of the UK. 

Initiatives with Tesco include Two Floor Trading, Dot Com’s, Urban Fulfilment Centres (UFC’s) and Special Projects.

Special Project’s include Lobbies, Tesco Bank, Pharmacy & Opticians, Doctors Surgery’s, Catalogue Shop and Click & Collect. Many of these innovations have resulted in large roll out projects delivered over several years and have proven to be extremely successful.  The current strategies relate to online shopping with expansion of Dot Com facilities and UFC’s making online shopping more efficient for the stores.

We are pro-active in our approach to Sustainability and Environmental issues and have been successful in assisting Retailers in their reduction of their carbon footprint.
